Chicago must continue its historic position of sanctuary and refuge to our new neighbors. As Mayor, Sophia will advocate at the federal level to secure permanent protection for DACA recipients, provide additional support for people on the path to citizenship, and end laws that criminalize immigration.

- Fully resource services that support displaced immigrants arriving in Chicago.
- Ensure access to the proper community support, language support, medical equipment and medical treatments immigrants may require including access to mental health and trauma support.
